Bobetsky Named Project and Inside Sales Manager at Electron Energy Corporation

Landisville, PA, (May 7, 2008) — Electron Energy Corporation (EEC), one of the world’s foremost
producers of rare earth magnets and magnet assemblies for critical applications, has appointed
Andrew Bobetsky as Project and Inside Sales Manager. The announcement was made by EEC
President, Michael H. Walmer.

“Andy’s wealth of experience in engineering, operations, hands-on project management and
financial analysis in the commercial and defense industries will allow him make valuable
contributions at EEC,” Walmer said.

Bobetsky will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with new and current
customers, preparing proposals, monitoring sales quotas, supporting business development and
sales activities, working with outside sales representatives, and handling special projects.
Before joining EEC, Bobetsky was employed by L-3 Communications BT Fuze Products in
Lancaster, PA. Prior to that, he worked for Porta Systems Corporation, Syosset, New York;
Bulova Systems and Instruments Corporation, Lancaster; and Kinemotive Corporation,
Farmingdale, New York.

Bobetsky earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Polytechnic
Institute of New York and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Adelphi University,
Garden City, New York. He resides in Landisville, PA.
