Samarium Cobalt Magnets and Magnet Assemblies
Electron Energy is a leading supplier of samarium cobalt magnets, which offer excellent performance at ultra-high temperatures. EEC provides the widest array of magnetic properties attainable for SmCo with the broadest operating temperature range – including ultra-high temperature SmCo UHT trademark – which can operate continuously up to 550 degrees C. We produce SmCo permanent magnets with maximum energy products in excess of 30 Mega Gauss Oerstead (30 MGOe) and application-specific blends to provide unique, customized properties for optimized magnetic circuit designs. EEC offers Temperature Compensated (TC) specialty magnet materials with near zero reversible temperature coefficient of Br and can control the TC to the ppm level. SmCo magnets usually do not need coating to protect them from environment induced corrosion, which allows more accurate part tolerances and simplifies use. |
